Spawn Point launches business network and submissions for our accelerator are now open!
We have so much great news to share this month!
We have formed a business network with some of the studios that have participated in the accelerator program and the already well established game studios Breach and Studio Gauntlet. The business network is partially funded by Innovation Norway and has a focus on globally exporting Norwegian games. With this we feel we are enforcing on focus on creating a sustainable game industry and we look forward to continue working with the game studios! We believe that a lot can be gained when we work together and share resources, networks and experiences.

Kioku: Last Summer launched!
Congratulations to Spawn Point alumni, Lugn Games, with their first game launch!
Lugn Games launched Kioku: Last Summer last week! Getting their first game financed by a Kickstarter, grit and public funding, as well as launched by a publisher is a FANTASTIC way to start! We’re enjoying the game and we’re already looking forward to the next one, which they’ve already secured NOK 500k for!

Our Managing Director elected leader of a special interest group for incubators in Europe
The International Game Developers Association has a special interest group dedicated to the work that hubs, incubators and accelerators do in the game industry ecosystem. Our Managing Director, Linn Sovig*, was elected as the next leader for the European chapter of the organization.
We look forward to learning more with the interest group and finding potential collaborators with the same goals! Read more about what the group does here: https://igda.org/sigs/incubation/
